Dan is originally from the 'burbs of Philly. He studied acting and comedy at Emerson College where he did three awesome things: organized a "sleep-in" at the dean's office to protest 8am classes for seniors, booked his first commercial -- Kayem Hot Dogs, and co-created and starred in the mockumentary short about an all-meowing band, Tao of Meow.
Arlene Thornton & Associates signed Dan for commercial and voiceover, and he is proud to still be a client on their roster. Dan has booked national campaigns for Taco Bell, Starbucks, Kelley Blue Book, and Honda. His voice is featured in spots for Honda, Red Bull, and videogames for the Ratchet & Clank series and Disney.
With Tracy Curtis at Talent House LA, Dan booked a role the young pilots' union rep, Nelson O'Shea, on ABC's Scandal opposite Kerry Washington, as well as a large supporting role in the indie comedy feature, The Olivia Experiment, which premiered at the Hollywood Dances With Films Festival.
Dan is currently with Jaime Ferrar Agency and Ad Astra Management and most recently appeared opposite Ellen Pompeo in Grey's Anatomy.
Dan continues to create his own projects and can be seen in the short film, Chris & Steve, which premiered at the Burbank Film Festival. The short -- written and directed by Dave Jette -- follows a normal dude/puppet, Chris (Dan), driving cross-country with his human friend, Steve (Joseph Roberts) and getting sidetracked by a dubious hitchhiker (Amy Harmon).
He is an active member of the theatre community and is a proud founding member of Brimmer Street Theatre Company. His past performances include multiple roles in the ensemble production of Severance, a lead role in Summer in Hell, and, most recently, the male understudy for Miles Brandman's heated battle of the sexes, All Your Hard Work.
In the improv comedy world, Dan performed weekly at I.O. West on their house team is now seen out and around the indie long-form improv theaters in LA, as well as special shows at Upright Citizens Brigade in Hollywood.
